Since 1928, 10 generations of compact hatchbacks have followed one another at Citroën. 2020 marks a new stage in design, energy and comfort with the New C4 and 100% ëlectric ë-C4. With its hybrid look, the compact hatchback has a unique design and is reimagining the norms of its segment.

The New Citroën ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric embodies technological and modern mobility, for a 100% electric driving experience. With its 350 kms, the compact hatchback adapts to how you travel. It offers different driving modes to increase your driving pleasure tenfold, and all without CO2 emissions.

A comfortable interior

It's difficult to compete with Citroën when it comes to comfort. With its Advanced Comfort technology and suspension with Hydraulic Cushions, the New C4 offers a unique in-car experience. It comes with many new features such as the Smart PAD support, a tablet stand that will delight all co-drivers.

Reinventing the hatchback

Determined to break the rules, the New Citroën C4 asserts its differences by combining the aerodynamic silhouette and refinement of a compact hatch with the generous lines of an SUV, with its large wheels and muscular lines. In addition to its design, the New C4 marks a Citroën revival with the ë-C4, a fully electric version.

A DYNAMIC AND TOUGH REAR END The rear end gives the car an aura of strength, suggesting a generous boot space (380 L). The inclined rear windscreen, the aerodynamic spoiler and the lights connected by a black band make the New C4 unique and identifiable, which inaugurates a V-shaped new light signature. AN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGICAL FRONT END With its high, sculpted bonnet, the New C4 has an energetic and assertive style. The front of the vehicle embodies Citroën's new aesthetics, with a V-shaped light signature, two-tier headlights and chrome chevrons stretched across the entire width. This new design highlights the Citroën 100% LED Vision technology, daytime running lights, headlights and fog lights. 31 EXTERIOR COMBINATIONS Citroën provides a highly advanced customisation experience. You can choose all the colours of your New C4. On the outside, choose from 7 body colours and 5 colour packs, providing a total of 31 combinations. But that's not all, the interior is also customisable. Select from 6 interior ambiances.

Choose a body shade that suits you: opt for simplicity with Polar White, Obsidian Black, Steel Grey or Platinum Grey. For more pep, think outside the box with a bright colour such as Elixir Red, Caramel Brown or Iceland Blue. AN AERODYNAMIC PROFILE In profile, the New C4 has an aerodynamic design while remaining generous in size, underpinned by soft lines from its hatchback heritage and muscular ones for its SUV side. The short overhangs combined with the large diameter wheels and the 156 mm ground clearance create an elevated posture. 6 INTERIOR AMBIANCES To finish, select one of 6 interior ambiances for a cabin that suits you. There are colours specially designed to suit warm materials. The catalogue includes the standard ambiance or Urban Grey, Metropolitan Grey, Metropolitan Blue, Hype Black and Hype Red. 5 COLOUR PACKS Because every detail is important, Citroën offers 5 Colour Packs to dress up your fog light surrounds: Glossy Black, Metallic Sand, Textured Grey, Anodised Deep Red and Anodised Blue. Note that the latter is exclusive to Nouvelle ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric.

The New C4 brings together the best of Citroën technology. It is fitted with Citroën suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions®, which absorbs all the bumps in the road. In the seats, Advanced Comfort technology offers exceptional comfort. Their softness and support have been reinforced with the addition of 15 mm of foam. In addition, its compact dimensions maintain the agility necessary for daily use alongside generous interior space, with plenty of room for all the passengers.

EVERYDAY COMFORT The New C4 offers both compact exterior dimensions to maintain the agility needed for everyday use and generous interior space, including excellent legroom in the back (198 mm). Its large electric glass roof bathes the interior in light.
USER FRIENDLY With the New C4, the 20 technologies and intuitive driving aids that make the use of the car more fluid also make it very user friendly. PEACE OF MIND The New C4 has a large electric sliding glass roof that bathes the passenger compartment in light. 380 L OF BOOT SPACE With a 380 L boot, the New Citroën C4 is positioned in the middle of the segment. The two-position floor makes it possible to compartmentalise the boot and make use of a flat floor when the rear seat is folded down. Directly integrated into the dashboard, this universal tablet holder allows the passenger to enjoy its contents. Positioned in the dashboard facing the passenger, it also allows you to store your tablet. COMFORTABLE SEATING The seats of the New C4 feature Advanced Comfort technology, exclusive to Citroën, to offer you a whole new experience of comfort. The seats incorporate 15 mm of thickened foam for optimal softness and support, as well as high density foam for optimal comfort, offering better vibration absorption, longevity and no compacting.
DRIVING COMFORT The New C4 is fitted with Citroën suspension with Progressive Hydraulic Cushions® providing supreme comfort and a flying carpet effect to promote on-board well-being, dynamism and driving enjoyment. A FUNCTIONAL CENTRAL CONSOLE Tall and wide, the central console offers maximum storage space. In particular, it has a mobile charging area where you can easily put down and charge your smartphone, two USB sockets, a storage slot in front of the gear stick for various small objects and even storage under the central armrest.

Available as a fully electric version, the New ë-C4 embodies technological and modern electric driving with the utmost comfort and versatility. This first 100% electric vehicle from Citroën offers you a new driving experience cocooned against the outside world. Everything contributes to enhancing your in-car comfort: its quiet operation, the fluidity of movement, driving pleasure, the cushioning of the suspension, the softness of the Advanced Comfort seats, the absence of vibrations, and the ergonomic and user-friendly dedicated interfaces and services.

SERVICES DEDICATED TO THE ELECTRIC VERSION Manage the ë-C4 with the My Citroën app from your phone. Check the status and charging time of your vehicle: from its range to programming a deferred charge and pre-setting the car temperature. Access more than 170,000 charging points in Europe, locate compatible ones and plan your routes. THE CHARGING PORT COVER
The charging port cover incorporates a colour code so you can monitor the entire charging process visually, which can be viewed on the My Citroën app. Charging is made easy and can be scheduled or deferred, for example so you can take advantage of cheaper off-peak electricity rates. It can be programmed on the touchscreen tablet in the passenger compartment or on the My Citroën app. INTUITIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE ELECTRIC VERSION The New ë-C4 has several intuitive interfaces. With the dedicated display mode on the digital handset, you can view the range gauge and access the power indicator, energy flow or temperature settings. On the 10" touchscreen tablet, you will find the statistics, energy flow and deferred battery charging programming screen. Finally, when the car is charging, the screen displays the remaining charge time, the range recovered and the charge rate. 350 KMS RANGE The New Citroën ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric provides quiet and easy electric driving. The 100% ëlectric hatchback is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 50 kWh that offers a range of up to 350 kms on the WLTP cycle (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedures), giving you a more precise and realistic view of the range values based on your actual use of the vehicle. The battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 kms for 70% of its charge capacity. A DISTINCTIVE DESIGN Elegant and dynamic like a hatchback but strong and robust like an SUV, the New ë-C4 - 100% ëlectric has the same character traits as the combustion version. However, it differs in several details: note the monogrammed ë on the bumpers and at the rear of the vehicle. The compact hatchback has an exclusive Anodised Blue Colour Pack. The door panels feature a specific design. Finally, the 18'' Crosslight diamond-patterned alloys reserved for the electric version have been specially developed to save energy. 3 DRIVING MODES To offer you the best driving sensations, the New ë-C4 offers 3 driving modes. The Normal mode provides the best compromise between autonomy and dynamic performance. Optimize energy consumption in Eco mode. Finally, if you are looking for sportier driving, which emphasises the performance of the compact hatch, the Sport mode will win you over. SIMPLE CHARGING SOLUTIONS Several charging methods are available depending on the distances you travel and the charging solutions you have outside your home. At home on a 7.4 kW Wall Box, a full charge takes 7h30 (7.4 kW onboard charger), and 5h with a 11 kW Wall Box (optional 11 kW onboard charger). On a reinforced Green Up domestic plug, you can get a range of 62 miles in 4h30. At a public charging point with a 100 kW supercharger, charging is even faster (80% in 30 minutes).

INTELLIGENT BEAM HEADLIGHTS An ideal system for night driving. As soon as cars are detected, the system switches from high to dipped beams.
HILL START ASSIST When the brake pedal is released on a hill, this system prevents unwanted movement of the vehicle. ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE This brake is applied automatically as soon as the engine is stopped and is released as soon as the vehicle is started. ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH STOP & GO Depending on the distance between your vehicle and the one in front, this technology automatically stops and restarts the vehicle. LANE DEPARTURE WARNING ALERT If the line is approached without indicating, the steering will counter-steer gradually to keep the vehicle in its original lane. PARK ASSIST Park Assist detects a parking space at your request. The car parks itself automatically, without you having to touch the steering wheel. DRIVER ATTENTION ALERT This alert assesses your state of vigilance by identifying deviations in trajectory from the road markings, which is very useful on motorways! CORNERING LIGHT FUNCTION With this additional light, visibility and safety is increased at bends and intersections. KEYLESS ENTRY AND START An aid that allows you to lock, unlock and start your vehicle while keeping the key in your pocket. COFFEE BREAK ALERT After two hours of driving at over 40 mph, a little break is in order. The Coffee Break alert is there to remind you. COLLISION RISK ALERT A function that alerts you when there is a risk of collision. This alert also helps you maintain safe distances.
HEAD-UP DISPLAY IN COLOUR Keep your eyes on the road while having essential driving information in your field of vision. BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM An orange light located in the corner of the mirrors and indicates the presence of a vehicle in the blind spots.
REVERSING CAMERA WITH TOP REAR VISION As soon as you shift into reverse, this reversing camera lets you view the rear of the vehicle, offering a 180° view. HIGHWAY DRIVER ASSIST This tool detects the car in front and automatically maintains the safety distance you have chosen. ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE This tool alerts you when obstacles are detected in front of you. Without any reaction from you, it automatically brakes the vehicle. TRAILER STABILITY CONTROL Trailer owners, this tool detects dangerous swinging motions by using the brakes to stabilise your coupling.
360° VISION This tool displays a 360° view of the top of the car and its environment on the touchscreen with 3 different views to adapt to all manoeuvres.
BAY PARKING ASSISTANCE This technology allows you to park easily in a bay, alerting you to obstacles to each side. Make driving easier

The New C4 is fitted with an EAT8 8-speed automatic gearbox. This comes with a new engraved metal box. It has 3 positions (R, N and D) to make selecting reverse, neutral or drive easy and 2 buttons: P to activate parking mode and M to activate manual mode in petrol or diesel engines, or B to activate brake mode on the electric motor in order to recover more energy during deceleration.
